GEORGE SULLIVAN
Head Coach & Owner
George Sullivan is a professional MMA fighter who has competed in some of the biggest fight shows in the country. In 2012, he won the Cage Fury Fighting Championship 170lb title, which he successfully defended four times. He eventually signed with the UFC and retired after winning the Ring of Combat 185lb championship.
George is dedicated to the growth and development of all members at Sullivan Kickboxing Academy, whether they want to get in shape or compete at a high level. He aims to provide an environment that focuses on the individual and offers mentoring and private lessons to all his students. George worked with the top coaches in the Tri-State area during his professional career, and often invites them to train with his students at Sullivan Kickboxing Academy.
ROB GUARINO
MMA and No Gi BJJ
Rob Guarino, head coach of the Rhino Fight Team, began coaching in 2005 after training extensively at Miletich Fighting Systems alongside UFC champions and Hall of Famers. Some of his students include Frankie Edgar, UFC Hall of Famer and former UFC lightweight champion, George Sullivan, a 7-time UFC veteran and former CFFC welterweight champion and ROC middleweight champion, and dozens of other big show veterans and legends of the NJ MMA scene.
Rhino Fight Team has won numerous championships in MMA promotions throughout the country, including Ring of Combat, Cage Fury Fighting Championships, Flex Fight Series, Reality Fighting, Dead Serious MMA, Asylum Fight League, Battle Cage Xtreme and countless medals and awards at competitions such as NAGA, NJBJJF, Grappling Industries, Warrior Cage Grappling and Men of War.
SKY MARTINEZ
Kickboxing and Taekwondo
Coach Sky Martinez has been practicing Martial Arts for the past 20 years, starting at age 3. She’s a 4th degree black belt under ATA Martial Arts and a black shield under Sullivan Kickboxing Academy. Sky is a certified instructor with more than a decade of experience coaching kids. She has taught several thousand classes over the years and has coached hundreds of students, many of whom have won major championship titles.
Sky is the head coach for our Martial Arts competition team. She has helped kids, teens and adults take home numerous championships for Sullivan Kickboxing Academy in tournaments, 1v1 Kickboxing matches, and Martial Arts competitions.

Kyle Henninger is a passionate martial artist and the driving force behind The Lab JJ. With over a decade of experience in martial arts, including a deep-rooted love for Jiu-Jitsu, Kyle is dedicated to helping you unlock your full potential.
Kyle’s diverse background in Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai, Wrestling, and MMA provides a unique perspective on combat sports. His expertise in skill acquisition and goal achievement ensures that you’ll progress rapidly and effectively.
